Strategic Plan 2024-2025

 

Mission:  The mission at Pinch is “Unleashing Student Potential”

 

Vision:  The vision at Pinch Elementary is to recognize the potential of each child and to guide the child in building confidence, leadership potential, academic, and social skills in an environment that is safe and promotes respect for all.

 

Goal 1:

Academic Achievement in iReady Reading and Math:  Pinch Elementary’s iReady Math proficiency rate will increase by 15 students at the end of the 2024-2025 school year.  Pinch Elementary’s iReady Reading proficiency rate will increase by 20 students at the end of the 2024-2025 school year.

 

Performance Measure: iReady

Goal 2:

Academic Achievement in DIBELS and Benchmark:  Students in grades 3-5 will complete the BOY and MOY Benchmark assessments.  There will be an increase of 35 students who score proficient as evidenced from BOY to MOY Math benchmark.  There will be an increase of 30 students who score proficient as evidenced from BOY to MOY Reading benchmark.  Students in grades K-3 will complete the BOY, MOY, and EOY DIBELS benchmark assessments.  There will be an increase of 25 students who score proficient as evidenced from BOY to EOY DIBELS composite scores. 

 

Performance Measure:  WVGSA, CIA, IMAs

Goal 3:

SEL/School Culture Goal:  The Panorama survey will a show a 5 student increase in the positivity rate in the Grit SEL competencies section from BOY to EOY for 2024-2025 school year.

 

Performance Measure:  Panorama Student Wellness Survey

 

Strategy:  Small Group Counseling

Action Steps:

  • Stephen Covey Habits small group instruction
  • Weekly guidance counseling classroom lessons

 

Strategy:  Daily Use of Dojo

Action Steps:

  • Strengthen consistent school expectations
